Captain Daniel Misiaszek & Lieutenant Kathy Misiaszek have been guest speakers and trainers for numerous organizations including the International Police Divers Symposium, the rotary club, lions club, business expos, dive shows & clubs, city planning, PARD, citizen police academies, police fraternal organizations, Texas State Universities, Southwest Texas State University, the Underwater Institute, Criminal Justice university programs, area higher education schools, environmental organizations and more.
Their most popular presentations include the Jacob's Well Death Investigation which includes the mapping of an underwater cave, the accidental discovery of skeletal remains 140 feet underwater inside a narrow chamber, the topside investigation into the possible identity, the underwater video taped recovery, and the eventual identity of the individual 21 years after they were reported missing. Dan & Kathy also present Underwater Criminal Case Studies where underwater crime scenes including burglaries, a car jacking, and two capital murder cases are examined. Each presentation is approximately one hour in length and is displayed as a power point presentation with commentary. Both Daniel and Kathy have been qualified as expert witnesses in dive recovery operations and have testified in criminal trials and civil litigations. In most cases the presentations are free of charge providing their expenses are paid by the requesting organization.
